Stop me if you've heard the news already.
At the mid-month mark, I have a small team* flying down to the Kamchatka Peninsula to reclaim the deserted submarine base town of Bechevinka. The estimated capacity would be just shy of 900, above and below ground combined, if all the buildings are deemed viable by our resident architect. There've been long-time rumors of submarines being left down there after the Cold War ended, and I'm hoping that holds true. We could use more active vessels.
Wish them happy hunting.
ENGINEERING + DOM.
(*ooc note: all relevant leadership were off-screen alerted to these volunteers this morning! they are delilah, apollo, jamie, and sloane. ishaan already knows.)

Recommendations for getting through thick metal bunker doors? Would a blowtorch get through the locking mechanisms?TEAM KAMCHATKA.
With all of my chest, it is my sacred duty as mission lead to advise the following things:[...] RONEN.
- Do not pet the sea lions. If you go in the water, be careful of any rusted wreckage. We don't have any tetanus shots on board.
- If it's brown, lay down.
- Listen to Dom. He'll be your lead on the ground.
- Dom, listen to Nadine or Ishaan is going to push me off the ship.
When do you want Alonzo back?ADRI & PHILIP.
I need to confess something. [....] It's about Jamie.

mash.
It might be gone by then. And you have wine?
mash.
Next time, then. I'll try the mystery bottle before it's gone. I do, in fact, have wine.
mash.
Mystery bottle is important for building character.
I haven't had wine in forever. Man, I used to drink so much box wine.
mash.
I think I have enough character, but I wouldn't want to miss out.
Very little is easier to imagine than you with box wine, Maryle.
mash.
You could benefit from a bit more.
Yeah, we even used to play slap the bag. Very on brand for me.
mash.
You don't think I have enough character?
Slap the bag...?
mash.
I think you could use a dose more of something that the mystery bottle can provide.
You take the bag out of box wine, someone holds it up, you slap it, and then you chug from the spout. It's a game. Technically
mash.
Next time. Unless you want to wait on the wine.
A shame I don’t have box wine, then.
mash.
I do not want to wait on the wine.
Tragedy, honestly, but we'll make do. Is it nice wine?
mash.
It’s nice wine. Just don’t tell anyone it’s here until it’s gone.
mash.
Like I would risk anyone else getting it. When did you get it?
mash.
[…] Well, more than six months ago.
mash.
Makes sense. I promise not to give it the slap the bag treatment.
mash.
It would be a waste of the wine and the wine glasses.
mash.
You have wine glasses? You're way too fancy.
mash.
I do. [...] I'm not as fancy as some, but I like to have nice things when I can manage it.
mash.
Little luxuries are important in a hellscape.
mash.
I don't disagree. [...] Especially now that they're harder to come by for me.
mash.
You can make a friend in supplies, I believe in you. What are you missing?
mash.
I have a friend in supplies. Sort of. I'm not missing anything that I need yet.
Except the m
