Eli's managed to confirm intel provided by Bishop, so we're reasonably confident there are nine planes we can salvage from abandoned bases that are all within reasonable distances.
Fresh birds for the flock? I hear you ask. Yes! Except we're not entirely sure how fresh, which means I'm going to need pilots and engineers to fly out to assess and, with any luck, bring them back home. Additionally, I will need to borrow some of you lovely Espio and Ground Force types to take us out in those dreamy Blackbirds and to remain on standby as we scope out the jets.
Factsheets on plane specs will be distributed later today. Read them, learn them, memorise them.
Appreciate it's a tight schedule, but those aliens aren't waiting for it to be convenient for us. Don't all volunteer at once.

1. new superconductive cabling - the more i think about it, older isn't better. grab me anything. i'll give you my firstborn if you find any sugru or equivalent sealant.
2. insulated cable cutters
3. discharge rods. a military airbase should have these.
4. more precision torque wrenches would be a nice touch.
for general needs:
1. a backup surge capacitor bank. we're still using her original ones, and we need to keep the system from surging, or we're toast.
2. field-regulator coils - same
3. EMP-hardened circuit replacements - same
