Karaoke Time!

Bishop has pulled out his coveted karaoke machine to make sure that the vibe onboard the Mnemosyne stays high. He has curated a list of Appropriate Songs (sorry, folx, but Don't Stop Believing is still banned), but if it's not on his list, chances are he can scroung it up.

And if he can't? Well, that's what acapella is for!

For those who are a little too shy to sing in front of everyone, don't worry, there's something here for you, too! A stack of puzzles & boardgames has been set out for everyone's entertainment, including:

The Secret Club

For those of you in Bishop's very good graces, he has set up a small area in the library for video games. The collection is very minimal, but systems include: N64, PS, PS2, Gamecube, and the Wii.

To facilitate group play, he has only pulled out racing and fighting games. Oh, and Mario Party. Can't forget that.

Who all is hanging out in a quiet corner and putting together a puzzle?

We all know the usual rules for Jenga, but we've got a little twist here. Roll a d60. Whatever number you get, you have to do that prompt, simulating if you pulled a block and got a prompt. If you roll a 55-60, the tower falls and you chug your drink.

Oh you bet Adri is here. He's grabbed a beer and is sitting in the back watching everyone make fools of themselves. He might go play Jenga later just to see if Bishop kept some of the blocks he wrote.

Oh, Lia thinks this is all so delightful! She's here in her best frilly dress and flitting around everything. She will be singing later.

Griff is here because someone probably told him he should socialize more and get out there. He has a pop and can be found puzzling.

Is here for a total of 35mins, she's timing this for the principle of things. She will play Battleship and Risk, maybe Monopoly/Uno and will be playing to win.

jax is here! he's his usual social, charming self and will chat people up.

irina tends to wallflower during gatherings, but will speak if spoken to/if a friend is around. she sloooowly nurses a drink and will be doing a bit of a nervous shuffle until casper finds her for shots pre- their duet.

mav is here with SO MANY (not real) BELLS on, she jingles across the whole ship with her enthusiasm. karaoke and games????? please

dom's determined to do ship life properly so he's here for mingling and karaoke. he's in a ~pleasant~ mood and nurses a beer, stays away from jenga, and def has no idea about the secret club.

Maryle is present and enjoying herself especially with alcohol (she brought a bottle that she'll maaaaybe share a bit of if you ask nicely). She'll likely demand a single game of Clue where she will be far too competitive, and otherwise will spend the evening singing karaoke, lounging around drinking, and watching for anything to update her silly chart with.

mav and her best bossman perform you spin me round. she has a pretty steady voice and can keep in key, but she's got a karaoke voice, not a she's gonna win apocalypse idol voice. she's a mezzo-soprano which means she can hit those higher notes 😎 she does a good performance in terms of energy and ✨presence✨

she'll only cheat at ticket to ride if she's losing and she'll shout one song into the mic for karaoke.

there is a point in the early night where Jax clocks Dom and will sit on his lap, like Dom is a chair.

Evan is here, and drinking, and ready to sing literally anything. He'll do a few solo songs. He'll invite himself into group songs. If you need a duet partner, he's your man. Since he's Joe Keery I'll say he actually has a good voice but it definitely gets messier and off-tune as the night goes on and he gets drunker. This is a vibe, man.

Jamie is here, in a good mood and chatty. He does karaoke, plays some games, and has a drink or two.

Eleanor looks triumphant for not having knocked the tower over. She did a short honestly awkward runway walk.

She will be over here unless her girl gang drags her up to sing girls just wanna have fun or WHATEVER
