So board games are all well and good — I ain't got a thing against 'em — but what this ship really needs is a way to play some honest to God competitive sports. And when I say competitive sports, I mean baseball. I'd settle for basketball in a pinch, but baseball's the great American pastime for a reason.

Might just be I’m getting to that stage where I'm starting to climb the walls from not being able to do much of anything. Not that Saldanha Bay was exactly a thrill ride, but at least you could stretch your legs without bumping into bulkheads.

Anyway. If any of y'all can figure out a way to play baseball in space, I'll owe you one so big it'll have interest on it.

We would have to find a way to get some good ones up here if we’re going to play.

Maybe a team per cell. Or maybe just two teams so Battlest can be shared nice and fair. With the tightest pants you can possibly imagine, naturally.

I think it would only be fair if the teams are random and not divided by cells. Especially when one has a clear advantage over the other two.

Not much I could do about it since I was a scrawny kid and Coach was afraid I'd blow away with the wind.

See, after "double teamed" I can't talk about alternating positions. Baseball is full of way too many double enterndres.

My apologies, didn't mean to add to the innuendos. Maybe it's why everyone seems so supportive of baseball.

For the record, I was always my team's top hitter in high school.

I used to be a real good runner, and then I started running into fires instead.

Running was never my strong suit, but please stop running into fires. I don't want a crispy friend.

I can run very fast but I'd have to hit the ball first and that's where I'm less confident
