I am going to be on the ground starting tomorrow for two or three days. I am currently going alone, which Domingo and Nikola disagree with. I am grudgingly open to suggestions on how to increase my security to ease unnecessary worries without an escort.

It doesn't sound vain, Dom. I cannot pretend that our situations are exactly the same, but I do understand what it's like to have your day-to-day life impacted by such a condition. I wish I could this away from you.

While we all have to live with the consequences of our decisions, I do appreciate the sentiment. How is your leg these days? There was a point I meant to ask but in the moment it was easier to simply bypass any requests related to you on your knees.

My leg and I have reached an understanding. It complains when it's cold, or if I am on my feet for too long, but it's functional. As long as I'm not running any 5Ks, I manage quite well with the walking stick. Around my office, I can sometimes do without it entirely.
