Séarlait is here with a small collection of items in case people need something to donate for their kisses. She will give you something out of the kindness of her heart/in exchange for a future favour/in exchange for the chapstick you'll get post kiss (one of these is a lie).
Griff is here and his vibe is nervous golden retriever. But he's cheerful and happy to chat! If he keeps glancing at the kissing booth, no he isn't. Don't perceive that.
Jamie’s here to participate in the kissing booth. Probably takes a look at the other activities, but once his time in the booth is over he sneaks out. He’s in a good mood and not at all concerned about contracting an illness from kissing :)
She’s here because she wanted to find a book to read and apparently had selective amnesia about the kissing booth. BUT since she’s here, she participates in everything but the smoochin
remy comes to snoop and she brings a shiv carved from a broken wooden spoon as her donation. (she got 18 for the skill and there's a little heart in the handle.) sorry.
Sefi is here to attempt to be normal and largely fail. She's just wearing one of her normal pair of work overalls, but she does have a festive silk scarf tied into her hair instead of her usual cotton bandana.
Apollo is here to be social and participate in a party. TBD if he will be kissing anybody but he is going to get weirdly competitive about games and activities.
Sloane kinda pretends like she doesn't know this is going on today, but she does. She kinda pretends like she isn't watching the happenings from her sad little depressing book corner of the library, but that also is not true. She drops a little heart bead she found on the floor somewhere near the kissing booth as a token as tribute, but kisses no one.
Only a few minutes after Maryle’s stopped responding, Nishad is at her door. Perhaps he shouldn’t have followed through, but given that he had already gone to the trouble of picking up the chocolate, and he did owe her something nicer than an unwanted serenade, he’s ignoring any reasoning against following through as he lightly knocks on her door.
READ MORE Maryle opens her door after a few moments, feigning surprise as she momentarily glances back to Dom and then refocuses on Nishad. She had, of course, assumed he'd still arrive with chocolate in hand.
"Oh, I thought you were busy."
“Only jokingly busy,” he counters with a shrug, “I don’t like to disappoint once I’ve offered something.”
"Wooooow," Maryle drawls, leaning against her doorframe as she suppresses a satisfied smile. "Can't believe you lied. But I'm good at forgiving for chocolate."
“‘Lie’ is a bit harsh,” Nishad objects, but he does pull a chocolate bar from his pocket — one of the nicer ones from his stash — and holds it out. “Will that do?”
"Fine, you joked when I was being very very serious."
The offered chocolate is taken casually but examined closely, and Maryle actually looks genuinely pleased at this offering.
"This is actually the good stuff."
“Well, yeah,” Nishad says, though his tone of voice implies that he might as well have said obviously. “I wouldn’t bring you less than you deserve, Maryle. I’m not that much of an idiot.”
Clearly skeptical, Maryle looks at the chocolate bar once more and has to stop herself from immediately opening this reward for poor behavior. She finally smiles at Nishad.
"Not sure how much I believe that. But thanks, for not being stingy."
“You’re welcome.” There’s a small (stupid) smile before he steps back. “Enjoy.”
Her expression shifts into something a little inscrutable, but whatever she's thinking she's not about to say it.

He looks completely and utterly lost.
He turns around, leaves, and does not return. Maybe not ever.
