Hi everyone! After talking about it with Ashwin, we've decided that [....] due to projected events, we'd like to take the initiative and bump up two events into the end of February: our bi-annual blood drive and our yearly first-aid weekend. Ashwin would like me to remind you all that first-aid training is mandatory. The drive will take place in the medbay, and the refresher in the common area.

FRIDAY 9AM: BLOOD DRIVE 🩸

• You don't need to know your blood type, but if you do, we're looking for: O-, O+, and AB-. We can test a sample of your blood this week if you're not sure.


• Please do not volunteer for the drive if: you have had a piercing or tattoo in the last 3 months, you are actively unwell with flu or cold, or have a history of/currently have a bloodborne disease.

SATURDAY: FIRST-AID REFRESHER 🩹

Based on last year's feedback, we'll split each team into two smaller groups to make sure everyone gets the attention and engagement they deserve. Wear comfy clothes!

Yes, that's exactly what I was saying. I yearn for my first and last name to be almost identical.

I'd be offended if you didn't know that's been a dream of mine.

What else have you been dreaming about?

Oh, a couple of things. One particularly high on my list right now is getting better so we can get off the ship for a weekend.

Yeah? You still considering Nelson?

If you still want to, yes, that’s what I’m thinking.

You know I'd love that, but I dunno how feasible it's gonna be in the next few weeks. If they end up Gardening the whole ship, they may not want us offboard until they do that.

We can still daydream about it to keep ourselves afloat.

Not really? Ronen and I didn't exactly do dates on board. So I guess that means I haven't been on a date in over twenty years, and I'm out of practice.

Yeah, not as nice as actually going but it is what it is for now.

Okay, so let me plan something. Not that I’ve really been on a date much more recently, but it’ll be fun to do.
