Karaoke Time!

Bishop has pulled out his coveted karaoke machine to make sure that the vibe onboard the Mnemosyne stays high. He has curated a list of Appropriate Songs (sorry, folx, but Don't Stop Believing is still banned), but if it's not on his list, chances are he can scroung it up.

And if he can't? Well, that's what acapella is for!

For those who are a little too shy to sing in front of everyone, don't worry, there's something here for you, too! A stack of puzzles & boardgames has been set out for everyone's entertainment, including:

The Secret Club

For those of you in Bishop's very good graces, he has set up a small area in the library for video games. The collection is very minimal, but systems include: N64, PS, PS2, Gamecube, and the Wii.

To facilitate group play, he has only pulled out racing and fighting games. Oh, and Mario Party. Can't forget that.

"I didn't get a memo about a seating shortage," he remarks, and holds out his beer for Jax because there's no way he can keep a grown man and the can steady at the same time.

"What seatin' shortage?" Jax asks innocently as he graciously plucks the can free. "Thanks, darlin', you shouldn't have."

This... is Dom's life now. He sighs, leans back, and accepts his fate.

Jax oh so casually crosses one leg over the other, because this is just the greatest chair. "So how's it feel to be on board in a mostly permanently way? Your own room and everything."

"You're sitting in the lap of a man living in the lap of luxury." His voice is dry. "I'd say I'm surrounded by all my favourite people but I'm grateful for the vast indoor space we share so I'm not too surrounded."

"Aww, Dom." A grin before Jax sips from the can. "I knew you couldn't wait to be trapped in here with us."

Dom taps Jax's waist to signal for a turn with the can. "It's what got me through those long, lonely nights in Romania."

Congrats, the can is offered back. "Not the vampires over there? Strigoi, whatever they're called."

"Incompatible," Dom replies before a sip. "I couldn't give up garlic."

"I get it. I wouldn't want to squeeze into a coffin either."

There's an 'Oh.' noise when he hands the can forward again. He's going to pretend the little shake at the end there never happened and laces his fingers behind his head instead, safe and sound. "You've just a way found the way to make the bunks here sound preferable. Thank you."

"Always happy to help." The hand tremor is noticed, but Jax doesn't comment on it as he takes a slow, considering drink, before: "So how d'you feel about parades?"

"Wistfully fond? In that 'They don't make them like they used to' way."

"Can't say I even remember how they used to be before the Veil coma. I remember taking my niece a couple times."

"We attended more than a few," Dom offers. "I preferred them to most malls, in any case."

"Lemme guess. Malls have fewer people squashed together?"

He shakes his head with a scoff — you can leave a mall. "Developers love to hire architects who don't care enough and they design some soulless monolith to greed." In case it's not clear, this is what happens when the scale's angling beyond tipsy.

"Oh, you feel that way about it." He scritches the back of Dom's shoulder playfully. "Not their fault they're soulless capitalist zombies, y'know."

"This was endemic to the field far before the Fall, Jaxson," Dom insists, feeling—yes—that way about it.

Jax nods in understanding as he sips the beer, even though he doesn't remotely understand. "Alright, well. Malls, sore topic. Wouldn't've guessed. How 'bout kiss lists?"
